Working in the field of Microbiology is very exciting and glorious as we have the opportunity to address many of the grand challenges faced by the world that may be either the covid-19 infection pandemic or Anti microbial drug resistance of different super bugs. Studying microbial world from genetic aspect will have added advantages as we can deal on rapid approach of disease diagnosis as PCR, challenges created by gene mutation, GMOs and other emerging microbial diseases.

Here at KCST, we use innovative ways of teaching pedagogy where students are always empowered with skills, exposure through projects, researches; increase their learning abilities through AV aid to make them globally competitive. It is possible because of our highly experienced and dedicated faculties, well equipped library and laboratories, field based researches and project works, exhibitions and demonstrations. The degree program offered with exposure to the essence researches and improved academics do not only prepare graduates for a large diversity of Postgraduate specializations but also for the local and international job market as Medical and Clinical Microbiologists, Research and Development scientists, Environmental and Health care Microbiologists, QC analyst as well as in different food industries, NGOs and academics.

College Buildings

KIST has purposeful spacious academic buildings with abundant amenities. The construction is structurally sound and made with a view to run this educational institution effectively. There is enough space for wide-ranging activities and large classrooms for flexible learning environments. The College also has a big library, seminar halls, faculty and administrative offices for plentiful study opportunities or requirements.

The Premises

The College grounds are fairly large and contain sports facilities like basketball, badminton, and table tennis. They are used for multifarious college events or other important outdoor purposes. Our premises are wide, open, clean and fresh with adequate greenery.

Laboratories

The College has state-of-the-art computer & IT laboratories fully equipped according to the norms & standards of the Universities to which its courses bear affiliation. It has basic computer labs along with a digital logic lab and network lab.
